- John thanks. I use XTrkCAD and find it very good in designing layouts. I am interested in finding a virtual 3D design program that produces something better then fractal images. Your photo in the middle appeared to be too good to have been produced with a 3D program. Good luck with your endeavor.0
- I like this layout a lot. It will be one that we'll consider building only modified for the size of our base. Please keep posting photos of your progress :-)0
- The photo in the middle of the board is a printout of the N gauge layout that this one is based on. I posted that pic in the thread "Some basic questions". I put it there because, being a bear of little brain, I was bound to forget which track was going under or over. I've been using "Anyrail" to draw track plans but in the end just drew it stright onto the baseboard with a ruler and trammels. Anyrail is pretty good to use but won't generate "3D" images.0
- John, your doing a nice job. I enlarged the photo to see your printout. What program did you use to create the track layout photo? Also, can you post the picture image, as I am very interested in seeing the quality of the product. Thanks, keep up the good work.0
