- Walt- those are actual "FORD" billboards. I think they came out in the 50's..It's a dad and his son, and dog, looking INTO a FORD dealership --The backward FORD is on the glass and reads correctly to those outside...;-)0
- Fred they are still great looking buildings. I wasn't meaning anything! that's just what I could see they stood out they where backwards but the same on both buildings! Then I thought that it might be the way they are to be so when turned around the two light would light up the billboard so you can read it right!;-)0
- Yes Walt- I see I have to change the billboards-- that is one good thing about taking pictures-- It lets the modeler pick up on faults and where corrective action is needed. Just by changing the signage, the "old" building can be brought up to a new decade or time frame.0
- Fred the ford in the signs are backwards!;-) Arrow up and arrow down! small Attached building one sign on roof! These are some nice looking buildings Fred! Who ever designed these done a good job0
- Yup, Yup-- yoo get a gold star ;-) John Harmon did a good job designing these buildings- very simple but easy to crash and bash and make all kinds of things.. they were made from heavy card board- stock- all the windows were cut out as well as the sides themselves. Some walls had 3 thicknesses and the windows were counter sunk. Micro Art made brass mullions, cornices and doors for each kit so they could be lighted. These came out in very early Z when Zers were even fewer in number.0
- I get it. It's different but same.;-)0
