- Fred,

Will do when I make some more progress. Right now its on hold as I am concentrating on completing the harbor.

Yours,

John0
- John- post some pictures of your L I tug conversion on ZCS. I'd really like to see others boat works.
Fred0
- Thanks John for showing an interest. Port Welcome- a bigger boat has also been recently posted on home page. All scratch built.
Fred
PS- I actually posted this picture to test out new camera settings- I was unsatisfied with recent grainy fotos. Stony was a big help :-)
Fred0
- John,
This is all scratchbuilt. Hull and superstructure is solid wood and the awning is cut from a brass sheet. Hand rails are bought. Masts are different gages of wire. No, that is a Fred's wheelhouse :-) I made it by cutting hull and house on band saw, tin snips for brass awning, and box cutting knife.0
- Fred,

Nice!! ;-) Where did you get the hull from? Is that the Joe D'Amato tug pilot house?

John0
- Stony- You are proof-- an Old (Sea) Dog can learn new tricks. Thanks for the camera tips-- It appears a lot "Sharper Image". :-)
That's the ferry Prudence that used to run in Narragansette Bay, RI , and up until recently out of Hyannis, Cape Cod. Active for over 100 years!
Looks sort of like a Pakistani pilgrim boat.....
Fred0
- Where'z all the peopleZ? ;-)0
